OONY is out too?

I thought it was too good to be true.  So, here's some bad news - The AP is reporting that The Opera Orchestra of New York has canceled its two remaining performances this season because of the recession.  Scrapped from the season were Wagner's Rienzi and Cherubini's Medea.  Also cancelled was a concert featuring Ferruccio Furlanetto. Although the AP has it, it was first reported on parterre.com.
